"It's slime season"

With tens of millions of streams, awards and albums sold to platinum, Marcus Kabelo Møll Mosele aka Kamelen aka Slim, has taken Norway by storm. In 2015 he was in a tight spot to say the least, but that didn't stop him from debuting with the single "Si Ingenting" which today has over 10 million streams.

In 2017, he signed with rap collective/record label NMG/G-Huset, which is when he released his first album, Ambivalent. The following year, he was nominated for the Spellemannprisen for Breakthrough of the Year, just a few years before he was nominated for various P3 Gull awards and won a Spellemann in the hip-hop category for overall production.

The camel comes from "a lot of nonsense and fantasy", according to him. You can get a taste of that by watching the documentary about his life, Si Ingenting, which was started even before he was in prison. In addition to being besties with Leo Ajkic, he has collaborated with Lars Vaular, Ballinciaga, Broiler, Emma Steinbakken, Dårlig Vane, Tshawe and OnklP, among others.

Kamelen is arguably one of Norway's very best live artists with a mosh pit guarantee. Pro tip: Get right in the middle of the action when this guy steps on stage.
